We specialize in producing Viscose, Micro Modal, Lyocell, Cotton Linen, Viscose Linen, 100% Cotton, 100% Linen Fabrics, and 100% Linen Yarn.

Our Legacy

In the year 1990, Mr. Velappan and Mrs. Pavaiammal Velappan established Velappan & Sons in Erode, Tamil Nadu. We started in the industry with 52 power looms and a monthly production capacity of 90000 meters of fabric for Erode traders. Soon after the graduation, their inheritors Mr. V. Srinivasan and Mr. V. Vasudeva continued the excellence in the business following their predecessors.
With an increased demand for yarn, we started a spinning mill partnering in the name of Mothi Spinners Private Limited. Years of experience and core competencies have enabled us to gain in-depth knowledge, allowing us to produce the highest quality woven fabrics and yarns. Initially, we installed 16000 spindles with a daily production capacity of 9000 kgs. Today we stand with 1,30,000 spindles and 68 MVS machines.
As one of the biggest weaver of Cotton flax and rayon fabric, we serve the country's local market including Erode, Salem, Mumbai, Surat, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Delhi. In partnership with more than 650 looms, we have been delivering woven fabric and yarn for diverse markets. Our fabric quality speaks for us which makes us unique among the competitors.
We are still expanding and have already established our benchmarks in both domestic and international markets. We have a core team of highly qualified individuals who control and supervise the entire manufacturing chain, ensuring consistency in performance and quality to the customer. With an efficacious use of updated machines and tools, our professionals deliver the most satisfactory, premium quality fabrics.
